The beginning
本大会の歩みをタイムライン形式でご紹介します。創設期から世界大会への発展まで、棒手裏剣競技の普及と発展の歴史をご覧ください。
This timeline presents the history of the tournament in a card-style chronological format, from its founding to the world tournaments and charity events, illustrating the growth of Bo-Shuriken competition.
草創期 / Foundation Period
東京神田の武神館神田道場で有志による棒手裏剣の打剣稽古が始まりました。夏季には屋内競技を求める他団体も参加し、口コミで160名以上の仲間が集まる場となりました。手塚千里がまとめ役として活動しました。
Bo-shuriken training began at Bushinkan Kanda Dojo in Tokyo with volunteer members. During summer, other groups seeking indoor sports also joined, and through word of mouth, over 160 enthusiasts gathered. Amekou acted as the coordinator.
創始期 / Early Formation
東流の方々が加わり、神田稽古場での打剣稽古が活発化。流派・団体・個人を問わず技術研鑽の場を作る構想が生まれ、全国から参加者を募る活動が始まりました。
Members of the Tō-ryū style joined, and training at Kanda dojo became more active. The idea of creating a technical training space for all styles and individuals emerged, and nationwide recruitment of participants began.
九州での交流大会 / Kyushu Collaboration
佐賀県嬉野での交流会と連携し、全国統一大会に向けたルール策定を開始。各流派の参加を可能にする公平なルールが確立され、棒手裏剣競技の普及に大きく貢献しました。
Collaboration with a Kyushu exchange tournament in Ureshino, Saga Prefecture led to the creation of standardized rules for a national unified tournament. Fair rules allowing participation from all styles were established, greatly contributing to the spread of Bo-Shuriken competition.
予選開始 / Preliminary Rounds
東京神田道場や九州で予選を実施。コロナ流行のため一時停止・延期がありました。
Preliminary rounds were held in Tokyo and Kyushu. Some events were paused or postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
決勝大会開催 / Final Tournament
東京武道館にて決勝大会を開催。予選から含めてのべ242人が参加しました。新旧流派の合流により大会名を「棒手裏剣競技大会」に変更。感染対策を行いつつ、予選と合同稽古会を実施しました。
The final tournament was held at Tokyo Budokan. With the merging of old and new styles, the event was renamed "Bo-Shuriken Competition". Safety measures were implemented, and preliminary rounds and joint practice sessions resumed.
第一回大会 / 1st Tournament
身障者や板型競技などを総合的に行う大会として初開催。ジュニア枠やオンライン参加者も受け入れ、99名が決勝に出場しました。
The 1st overall tournament was held. Junior divisions and online participants were included, with 99 competitors advancing to the finals.
第二回大会 / 2nd Tournament
64名が参加。初めて板型手裏剣大会を同時開催。形の自由度を持たせた新ルールで実施しました。
64 participants competed. For the first time, a board-type shuriken tournament was held simultaneously, following new rules allowing freedom of shape within regulations.
第三回世界大会 / 3rd World Tournament
海外からの参加者急増に伴い、名称を「世界棒手裏剣競技大会」に変更。大会は3日間に分けて開催され、のべ154名が参加しました。
With a surge of international participants, the event was renamed "World Bo-Shuriken Competition". The tournament spanned three days with a total of 154 participants.
第四回大会 / 4th Tournament
東京北区の手塚道場でチャリティ打剣会として開催。茶道師範資格を持つ参加者による茶道体験・呈茶が提供され、和やかな雰囲気の大会となりました。外国人剣士が優勝し、初の外国人剣王が誕生しました。
Held as a charity Bo-Shuriken event at Tezuka Dojo in Kita-ku, Tokyo. Participants with tea ceremony instructor qualifications offered tea experiences, creating a harmonious atmosphere. Roberto, an international participant, won, becoming the first foreign Kento champion.
